• Vermont has 14 Counties, all of which have a story waiting to be told locally, nationally and internationally!

• All 14 Counties should plan to have new Start-up and Small Business Eco-Systems to generate REAL JOB CREATION!

• Vermont has a reputation known for delivering quality, each county across the State of Vermont has an opportunity to retool, redesign and re-engineer to bring their products and services to local, national and international markets.

• Vermont needs to build its digital infrastructure to bring the quality products and services to local, national and international markets.

• No longer a buzzword, Vermont needs to plug into the digital economy!

• Develop committee’s supporting the 14 Counties 14 Opportunities Concept. Support cutting the Corporate Tax to 20% using 18% to reinvest in growing the company, investing in better benefits for workers.

• Team Building in all 14 Counties to generate ideas to bring that counties history, story, products and services to local, national and international markets!

• Collaborate with local Schools, College’s to help implement digital infrastructure by allowing student’s to gain experience and generating ideas on how to design, brain storm and telling their counties story to local, national and international markets.

• All 14 Counties implementing a STEM, 100% coverage of digital technologies to plug into the digital economy.

Goals and Objectives



• Gov. Peter Shumlin promised 100% coverage for the State of Vermont to have internet access. Still has NOT reached this goal.

• Vermont faces a $112.6 Mil to $122.6 Mil shortfall due to forcing an agenda down onto Vermont Tax Payers and Businesses.

• Over $198 Mil lost on a Vermont Health Connect that is still NOT connecting, Single Payer shelved due to Tax Payer push back.

• Vermont is presently sitting #7 most taxed State, while being among the WORST in the country toward business friendly States! #49 2nd Worst Economic outlook. #50 New York.

• The so called spending problem will come to an end, no more smoke and mirrors and NO MORE LACK OF TRANSPARENCY!

Today’s Situation



• Gov. Peter Shumlin jumped on board to an agenda passed down from the DNC, Senior Dem Party for Vermont to be the Petri Dish of Universal Health Care – Single Payer based off a Canadian Model that has failed North of the Border.

• Vermont’s Health Connect has cost over $198+ Mil and still is NOT connecting! Vermont Tax Payer’s deserve better and they also deserve a voice on the expenditures of their tax payer monies!

• The Vermont Health Care System, much like the VA Medical Health Care System is failing to service Veteran’s, long waiting lists, people being denied Medical Attention due to NOT having coverage. Dual list in VA’s some Veteran’s being left to die while waiting times and numbers modified-basically cooking the books. Vermont’s VA is not doing much better.

• We now have an even MORE COMPLICATED TAX CODE! Vermont has a completely hostile Department of Taxes and a complicated federal Tax filing process as well! Delinquent Tax Payers now threatened with public humiliation, that is completely WRONG!

How did we get here?



• 14 Counties 14 Opportunities to develop Start-up and Small Business Eco-systems.

• 5 to 10 year Tax Exemptions for Start-ups, New Small Businesses, S-Corps and C-Corps who come to Vermont to develop, retool, redesign industries here in Vermont.

• Vermont Manufacturing can be revived by designing robotic and computer driven assembly lines. These companies based here in Vermont to generate REAL JOB CREATION!

• Incentives to locate in outer counties of Vermont other then just Chittenden County of Vermont. No Offense to Chittenden County they actually have a very good business diversity and College base.

• Although Chittenden County has several Buildings which could be utilized by Start-up/Small Business Eco-systems.

Available Options



• 14 Counties 14 Opportunities plugging into the 21st Century Digital Economy

• Each County putting together a Development Project team to identify opportunities with in each county! Redesign, Retool and Re-engineer traditional industries.

• 5 to 10 year Tax Exemptions, supported by the Department of Taxes in Montpelier, VT. NOT just for International Companies, but American Start-ups!

• Each Committee in pursuit of Cutting Corporate Tax Rate that allows Vermont Companies to compete on a Global Scale. Cut the Corporate Tax rate to lower 20’s rather then the uncompetitive 38%, 18% pts. is invested in developing REAL JOB CREATION WITH FULL BENEFIT PACKAGES! Investment in growing the company.

• As less complicated Individual Tax Filing on the State and Federal levels. Remove the mandate penalties, the poor have enough to worry about. This is going to force more and more people into Bankruptcy Courts.

• Incentives for bringing Investment back into Vermont.

• 14 County Support to bring back the Economic Engine that Vermont used to be back in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s through Tax Relief and Tax Reform!
