And indeed We have created many jinns and men for hell; they have hearts in which their is nounderstanding; and the eyes they do not see with; and the ears they do not hear with; they arelike cattle - in fact more astray; it is they who are the neglectful. Kanzul Imaan [Aa`raf 7:179]

EXPLANATIONO Muslims, Allah reveals in the above ayah (verse) and warns that Jinnaat and folks should (usetheir minds by) listening to what your heart tells you for good understanding, while you use theeyes to see easy and listen carefully to the words and sounds around you.

Allah's statement, They are like cattle, means, those who neither hear the truth, nor understandit, nor see the guidance, are just like grazing cattle that do not benefit from these senses, exceptfor what sustains their life in this world.

Al Jalalayn exegese of this aya is: “And We have indeed urged unto Hell many of the jinn andmankind, having hearts wherewith they do not understand, the truth, and having eyes wherewiththey do not perceive, the proofs of Allah’s power with a perception that entails reflection, andhaving ears wherewith they do not hear, the signs or the admonitions, in a way so as to reflectand take heed. These, they are like cattle, in their failure to understand, perceive or listen —nay, rather they are further astray, than cattle, because [at least] they [cattle] seek what isbeneficial to them and stay away from what is harmful to them: these individuals, on the otherhand, are proceeding towards the Fire, out of [sheer] obstinacy. These — they are the heedless.”

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs his exegese of the above ayah is: “(Already have Weurged unto) We created for (hell many of the jinn and humankind, having hearts wherewith theyunderstand not) the Truth, (and having eyes wherewith they see not) the Truth, (and having earswherewith they hear not) the Truth. (These are as the cattle) in relation to understanding theTruth (nay, but they are worse!) because they are disbelievers (These are the neglectful) thosewho are oblivious to the matter of the Hereafter, deniers of it.”

DISBELIEF AND THE DIVINE DECREE

In the exegese of Ibn Khatir we read his explanation about deep meaning of the revealed aya.

And surely, We have created for Hell, We made a share in the Fire for,

many of the Jinn and mankind, We prepared them for it bytheir performance of the deeds of its people. When Allah intended to create the creation, Heknew what their work will be before they existed. He wrote all this in a Book, kept with Him, fiftythousand years before He created the heavens and earth.

Imam Muslim recorded that Abdullah bin `Amr (radi Allahu anhuma) narrated that the HolyMessenger sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said, Verily, Allah decided the destination and duemeasurement of the creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and earth, andHis Throne was over the water.

There are many Hadiths on this subject, and certainly, the matter of Al-Qadar is of utmost im-portance, yet this is not where we should discuss it. Allah said,

They have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not,and they have ears wherewith they hear not. Meaning, they do not benefit from these senses thatAllah made for them as a means of gaining guidance.

Similarly, Allah Ta’ala reveals in ,

And We have not given you, and made ears and eyes and hearts for them; so their ears and eyesand hearts did not benefit them at all because they used to deny the signs of Allah .. Kanzul Imaan[Surah Al‐'Aĥqāf 46:26].

Allah also said about the hypocrites,

Deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return. Kanzul Imaan [Baqarah 2:18] and about thedisbelievers, (They are) deaf, dumb, blind - so they do not

have sense. Kanzul Imaan [Baqarah 2:171] However, they are not deaf, dumb or blind, exceptrelation to the guidance.

Allah Ta’ala reveals And had Allah found any

goodness in them, He would have made them hear; and had He made them hear they would, inthe end, have turned away and gone back. Kanzul Imaan [Anfal 8:23] furthermore Allah Ta’alareveals

So it is not the eyes that are blind, but it is the hearts in the bosoms, that are blind. KanzulImaan [Hajj 22:46]

Allah Ta’ala reveals more about this aspect

And whoever is averse to the Remembrance of the Most Gracious, We appoint a devil upon him,who stays with him. Kanzul Imaan[Zukhruf 43:36]

And indeed those devils prevent them from the Straight Path, and they think they are onguidance! Kanzul Imaan [Zukhruf 43:37]

Allah said in a similar ayah,

And the example of the disbelievers is similar to one who calls upon one that hears nothing exceptscreaming. Kanzul Imaan [Baqarah 2:171]

The meaning of this part of the above ayah is, their example, when they are called to the faith,is the example of cattle that hear only the voice of their shepherd, but cannot understand whathe is saying.

Allah further described them, nay even more astray, than cattle, because cattle still respond tothe call of their shepherd, even though they do not understand what he is saying.

As for the people described here, they are unlike cattle, which fulfill the purpose and service theywere created for. The disbeliever was created to worship Allah alone in Tawhid, but he disbe-lieved in Allah and associated others in His worship. Therefore, those people who obey Allah aremore honorable than some angels, while cattle are better than those who disbelieve in Him. SoAllah reveals

They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones.

In the above part which is the introduction for understanding the difference between a SunniMuslim and unbelievers and dissenters, we will continue with depth knowledge on the contempo-rary situation in 2012. In this article, which I previously wrote and published in Dutch, we will lookat corruption, Minhaaj (methodology) of religious Muslim leaders who urge to do what is harām(forbidden) and what the Sunni Muslims can and / or should do. May Allah Almighty wisdom Sunnisfavor and protect them. Ameen.

"O my people! Measure and weigh in full with justice, and do not give the people their goodsdiminished, and do not roam about in the earth causing turmoil." Kanzul Imaan [Hud 11:85]

The Holy Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said: "Allah does not punish individuals for the sinsas long as the community sees the evil among them and spread them even though they have thepower to a halt, but they do not." Hadith from Ahmad

WHAT IS CORRUPTION?

Corruption is the phenomenon whereby a person in a dominant position is illegal and favors and/ or transactions. Thus there is both active and passive corruption. Active corrupt bribes whenthe citizen and the other accept it. Passive corrupt as the appointed person is late paying hispower or authority to use incorrectly. Corruption is contrary to good governance (goodgovernance) and contrary to the integrity of corrupt person. Corruption occurs when there is noadministrative organization designed and established. In the administrative organizationdescribes the processes, segregation of duties is built into the drivers are not incompatiblefunctions can occupy. There is thus of different angle of incidence, from the perspective ofaccounting, such as the ordering, receiving and storage function. Corruption occurs in all walks

of life and all types of organizations.

SPLITS NOT JAMA'AH DUE TO A CORRUPT LEADER

Hazrat at-Tirmidhi and Ahmad Hazrat radi Allahu anhoma told that the Holy Prophet sallallaahualaihi wa sallam said: "He who sees something in his leader that is undesirable, then let him bepatient, because if he splits (or left) of the Jama'ah, even a hand's breadth and dies, he dies thedeath of a Jaahiliyyah (illiterate, ignorant) "and in another hadith" he has the yoke (binding) ofIslam from his neck thrown.” Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, at-Tirmidhi (no. 2867) andAhmad (4:130)

BE REASONABLE AGAINST A CORRUPT MUSLIM

O People who Believe! Firmly establish the commands of Allah, giving testimony with justice - anddo not let the enmity of anyone tempt you not to do justice; be just; that is nearer to piety - andfear Allah; indeed Allah is Well Aware of your deeds. Kanzul Imaan [Maidah 5:8]

Al Jalalayn gives exegese of this ayah as, O you who believe, be upright before Allah, in [fulfilling]what is His due, witnesses in equity, in justice. Let not hatred of a people, namely, thedisbelievers, cause you not to be just, and to harm them on account of their enmity; be just, towards both friend and foe, that, justice, is nearer to Allah-fearing. And fear Allah; surely Allahis aware of what you do, and will requite you for it.

Allah reminds His believing servants of His bounty by legislating this glorious religion and sendingthem this honorable Messenger. He also reminds them of the covenant and pledges that He tookfrom them to follow the Messenger, support and aid him, implement his Law and convey it on hisbehalf, while accepting it themselves.

THE DUTY OF A MUSLIM TO GOOD ADVICE TO THE CORRUPT LEADER

The Holy Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said: "For the sake of Allah, you need to connectwith Maroof (goodness) and ban Munkar (evil) and opposition to resist the unjust Zalim (leader)and forcing him to be truthful or you need him to fidelity to lead.” Musnad of Ahmad

This evidence is what the hadith that explains the verse, Almighty Allah has forbidden us toremain silent against the Munkar and He commands us to remove it. Allah commands the Muslimsto exercise Maroof and to reject Munkar and makes it a duty for them to act so.

Allah Ta'ala reveals as we recite in the Holy Qur’aan:

And there should be a group among you that invites to goodness, and enjoins good deeds andforbids immorality; it is they who are the successful. Kanzul Imaan [AI`Imran 3:104]

You are the best among all the nations that were raised among mankind - you enjoin good deedsand forbid immorality and you believe in Allah; and if the People given the Book(s) believed itwould be better for them; some of them are believers (Muslims) and most of them are disbelie-vers. (The best Ummah is that of Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him.) KanzulImaan [AI`Imran 3:110]

Page 9: 132 the end of tahir ul padri show

If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Madinah donot desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain yourneighbours in Madinah except for a few days. Kanzul Imaan [Ahzab 33:60]

Accursed – to be caught wherever found and to be slain thoroughly. Kanzul Imaan [Ahzab 33:61]

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abu Awfa (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said: "Allah is with the Qadi (leader) as long as he is no tyrant, if He (Allah) is leaving him(Qadi) than the devil sticks sight of him." At-Tirmidhi (Hadith No. 3741) and Ibn Majah havetransferred.

CONFRONTATIONAL A CORRUPT MUSLIM LEADER

If an Imam (spiritual leader) or Amir (ruler) is corrupt, he must first private to submit to Islam(Mufti, Council of Ulema) or possibly in public if publicly evil has been committed. If he does notdistance itself from these evil deeds, he should by a delegation of the Sunni community or Councilof Ulema overthrown or to be relieved from his position. However, this process of removal /release from his position should be no violence (physical or weapons) should be used. The reasonis that he is still a Sunni Muslim and the Muslims may not attack another Muslim or dead. Whenthe Muslim leader leaves Salāh / no longer wishes to carry out, he has to his duty towards Islamand cannot be met with harsh measures necessary to delete the files.

If this Imam or Amir sponsors disbelief and worshipers of disbelief, he is not a Muslim more.

Allah reveals

Indeed the only true religion in the sight of Allah is Islam; those who had received the Booksdiffered only after the knowledge came to them, due to their hearts’ envy; and whoeverdisbelieves in the signs of Allah, then Allah is Swift At Taking Account. Kanzul Imaan [AI`Imran3:19]

Page 10: 132 the end of tahir ul padri show

10

Then if they argue with you, (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him) say,“I have submitted my face (self) to Allah and likewise have my followers”; and say to the Peoplegiven the Book(s) and the illiterate, “Have you submitted (accepted Islam)?” If they submit, theyhave attained the right path - and if they turn away (reject), then your duty is only to convey thiscommand; and Allah is seeing the bondmen. Kanzul Imaan [AI`Imran 3:20]

And if one seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him; and he is amongthe losers in the Hereafter. Kanzul Imaan [AI`Imran 3:85]

WHAT IS TRUE LEADERSHIP?The title of the part of this article begins with the word 'correct'. Correct leadership has to dowith anything that is not corrupt. So, correct leadership is when it does not conflict with:• the Commandments of Allah as revealed in the Holy Qur’aan;• the Sunnah (Ahadith) of Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam;• the rules of the four righteous caliphs (Abu Bakr Siddiqui, Hazrat Umar Farouk-e-Azam,

Hazrat Usman Ghani and Hazrat Ali Moertaza radi Allahu anhum);• the rules of the imams of the schools of law (Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Maliki, Imam Hanbali

and Imam Shafi'ee radi Allahu anhum) and• the iedjmaa (consensus) of the eminent Muslim Scholars.
