The Structure of the Diploma
Standard Higher
Some classes may be combined with those students taking the Higher Level.

Exams are geared toward the Standard Level. In some cases, class work carries greater weight.

The following requirements enhance the OSSDand support our core values:
1 additional credit in Art or Music or Drama 1 additional credit in French or in an international language 1 additional credit in Physical Education 1 credit with a global studies perspective in grade 11 or 12 All English courses must be taken at Ashbury College 9 terms of co‐curricular involvement (at least one co‐curricular activity is

Completion of tsvo languages selected from group I with the award of a grade 3 or higher in both2. Completion of one of the subjects from group 3 or group 4 in a language that is not the same as
the candidate’s group I language. The candidate must attain a grade 3 or higher in both thegroup I language and the subject from group 3 or 4.
