Introduction In alignment with the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, Softball NSW are reintroducing the Softball NSW Awards to

recognize those that have excelled across the sport.

The Softball NSW Awards recognises those individuals, Clubs, Associations, and Teams who have achieved

not only excellence, but have also provided outstanding service to the sport of Softball in NSW each year.

The celebration focuses on all manner of persons within the softball community. Those members of our

sport from the local diamond through to State, National and International achievements.

2021 Softball NSW Awards We invite you to attend the Softball NSW Awards to be held on the evening of Sunday 31st October 2021 at

West HQ 33 Railway St, Rooty Hill NSW 2766 to celebrate and recognise the outstanding service and

contribution to softball of our nominees and winners.

Further information will be available via https://nsw.softball.org.au/

Nominating Members As part of the process, it is crucial to recognise a volunteer, athlete or officials’ success and reward for the

impact the individual has had within their Club, Association, and local community. Nominations provide an

insight of their hard work and dedication for the benefit of softball in NSW that often goes unnoticed.

Nominations in any category can be completed by any member of the SNSW/Association/Club or

participant. We acknowledge that within the document the criteria for consideration is in depth and in some

cases may seem strong, regardless of not meeting all these, we encourage all Associations and Clubs to

nominate individuals/themselves across all categories.

How to submit your nomination While there is no minimum or maximum word count, SNSW encourages you to provide the judging panel

with sufficient accurate and relevant information.

Nominations are to be made online via link: https://form.jotform.com/212437079465865

How will nominees/winners be recognised? The prestige of the Award is the most valuable aspect of the Softball NSW Awards, recognising the

outstanding contribution during the judging period. All nominees will receive a digital certificate

acknowledging their status as a ‘nominee’.

Winners will be presented with a SNSW plaque and promoted via our communication channels highlighting

the specific award winner as well as the Club and/or Association.

Associations and Clubs are encouraged to engage local media to further leverage opportunities for

community partnerships and recognition.

Furthermore, SNSW will elevate State winners for external recognition where appropriate. This may include

Sport NSW or other industry awards. Please note, this is at the discretion the SNSW Board, and some

nominations may require further information.
