The Key selling point of this trailer is the fear of the unknown. Throughout the whole trailer we get the feeling and are given hints to what is causing the weird going on in the house but we never actually see it, keeping the audience in suspense and wanting to find out what it is.

The trailer establishes the horror genre by having a dark atmosphere throughout the whole film, it also uses young children as its main focus this shows vulnerability of the victims. You also expect that something intense is going to happen as small things appear to be building up to this, although we never see what seems to be the antagonist of the film, this makes things more scary and reinforces the horror genre.

The target audience is anyone who is into the horror and thriller genre. The first screen shot shows that audiences who liked films such as Saw and Insidious would like this film and should accept to similar concepts from that film in this film, It also seems to be more of a thriller than horror genre so should be focused towards more thriller film fans.
