Dear Colleagues,

The CCIM Wisconsin Chapter is very pleased to share with you the first-ever electronic edition of our annual

Membership Directory and Resource Guide. We hope you agree with us that the use of this sustainable technology

will make the Directory an even more impressive and useful tool for our members.

The Chapter has a very exciting year planned as we continue our tradition of offering core CCIM education

opportunities to our members and interested industry professionals, as well as exciting and deal-creating

networking opportunities.

The Board of Directors is looking at a number of additions to our schedule of events as well aimed at providing

even more benefit, particularly to those of us that have already achieved the Designation. In addition, the Chapter

will continue our tradition of promoting the Designation and encourage consumers to do business with a CCIM.

Now more than ever the value of the CCIM Designation is obvious. I invite you to get involved with the Chapter this

year, attend events, recruit students to become involved in our educational process and submit deals/articles for

CCIM Designation requirements 2010 Membership Directory

New designation requirements went into effect January 1, 2010. Members who began their candidacy prior to January 1, 2010, have until December 31, 2010, to earn the designation under the current requirements. Members who began their candidacy on or after January 1, 2010, will follow the new requirements.

1. Current candidates have until December 31, 2010 to earn the designation under the existing requirements.

2. The new requirements currently affect U.S. members only. International members will be notified in the near future about revised designation requirements.

3. Effective January 1, 2011, the following courses will no longer meet the designation requirements and must be retaken:

CI 103 courses taken prior to 2000 ■

CI Intro, CI 102, CI 104 courses taken ■prior to 1999CI 101 courses taken prior to 1992 ■

The updated CCIM designation requirements coincide with the new curriculum CCIM is releasing, beginning with CI 101 in the summer of 2009 and CI 102-104 in 2010. The new curriculum and updated requirements reflect the evolving nature of the commercial real estate and business professions.
