d) Write four battery ratings and explain the same.

a) Draw the labeled sketch of the following and state its effect on vehicle. Camber

and castor, toe-in and toe out.

b) How the microprocessor controls various automobile operations? Mention for six

operations.

a) Draw a labeled sketch of diaphragm clutch, and describe its working.

b) State the function of gear box. Define Traction and Tractive effort.

d) State and explain four factors which affects tyre life.

e) Write the four requirements of suspension system.

f) Name the type of steering gear box used in maruti 800. Draw its sketch.

system?

c) Why are the stub axels fitted in front axle? Sketch any two types of stub axles.

d) Compare tubed tyres with tubeless tyres.

e) Why wheel alignment and wheel balancing is necessary? Give the reason. State the

procedure for wheel balancing.
