With the lighting of another candle the brightness

increases as we approach the birth of the Savior If

we are not careful we may be inclined to think the

It is so important to look at a bigger picture of what

come to bring redemption healing and restoration

With the lighting of another candle the brightness

increases as we approach the birth of the Savior If

we are not careful we may be inclined to think the

arrival of baby Jesus is the culmination of the season

It is so important to look at a bigger picture of what

is truly happening We are celebrating the arrival of

God to planet Earth taking on human flesh God has

come to bring redemption healing and restoration

The baby born in Bethlehem some 2000 years

ago lived here in a physical body That body was

crucified dead buried in the earth resurrected to life

in overcoming death and ascended to heaven Jesusrsquo

physical glorified body the one born in Bethlehem

is in heaven as you are reading this He has given

the Holy Spirit to indwell us in his physical absence

Jesus is our sole worship leader at the Fatherrsquos right

hand at this moment He is our High Priest interceding

on our behalf before the Father To look at Christmas

as simply ldquoJesusrsquo Birthdayrdquo misses the significance of

what is truly happening Because of the nativity and all

that followed this morning is filled with living worship

All glory to God Father Son and Holy Spirit world

without end Amenrdquo - D983154 D983137983150 S983144983137983154983152
