WestWood is both technically and economically impressive. The oldest, still serviceable waterproofing systems using flexible PMMA resins were installed in the 1980s and have therefore been in use for over 25 years now. In terms of their service life, WestWood waterproofing systems have been classified, according to their European Technical Ap-proval (ETA), in the highest achievable category of W3 (durability > 25 years).

The spiral entrance and exit ramp was refurbished in 2003. At approx. 4000 vehicles a day it is really put to the test. Even today, after approx. 10 m vehicles, the abrasion-resistant textured surfacing is still demonstra-ting its durability.The expansion and working joints coated with the Wecryljoint waterproofing system remain free from cracks and serviceable today.
