Par Boiled Rice Hulls from RicelandThis uniquely processed rice hull amendment is a readily renewable resource requiring no mining or land disruption to produce. As so many growers have learned, it’s a perfect replacement for perlite in the growing media – providing a less dusty mixing environment, lower basic cost, and decomposition over time, while remaining stable during the typical plant production cycle. Its size, shape, and bulking properties produce optimum air-filled pore space, water-holding capacity, and drainage. PBH is ideal for blending with peat, bark, and coir. Lightweight and compressed when packaged, PBH requires less storage space and reduces freight costs. OMRI listed for organic production.

Coarse PerliteInorganic soil rebuilder that improves soil structure by providing increased aeration and water holding capacity, yet reduces soil compaction for superior plant growth. It’s screened to remove fine particles.

VermiculiteMedium grade is widely used for plug mixes, finer soilless mediums, germination, and rooting. Coarse grade is used when higher aeration is required. Both exhibit the highly desirable characteristics of being lightweight and moisture and nutrient retentive. Great medium for increasing lateral water movement in a mix.
