A!rmation of Faith –Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

* Please stand if you are able . Parents, please escort underage children leaving the service.

Upcoming Sermon Series On January 8 we will begin “Not To Be Served, But to Serve: A sermon series on the gospel of Mark” on Sunday mornings. This series will run through May. We are so excited to offer a Sermon and Prayer Journal. In this spiral— bound journal you will find the scripture for the sermon, a place for sermon notes, suggested Scripture readings and a corporate prayer for the week, prayer requests for our ministries, and journaling space. Sermon and Prayer Journals will be available beginning on January 1 for $3 each. We hope that these will help enhance your Sunday wor-ship by encouraging continued time in the Word and prayer throughout the week.

The funds we need to support our 75+ foreign missionaries is $240,000. To date (as of Nov 27), we have raised $139,233, which is $100,000 away from our end goal. We are $40,000 behind. It is only through your generous giving that we are able to support those who are the hands and feet of Jesus in bringing the Gospel to the corners of the earth. Please consider our offering and our missionaries as you prepare for year-end giving. As you give, please designate your gift as “Missionary Support Offering.” Thank you for supporting Mitchell Road’s missionaries in expanding and strengthening the Kingdom worldwide.
