of the day– Flexibility and convenience of eBooks valued – Use hindered by platform limitations, e.g. printing,

downloading and slow access speeds

– 85% users spent less than a minute on each page– Only 5% spent 5 minutes or more on a page– Printed books preferred for extended reading

• Usage would suggest expectation of a lower price point

• Study found no considerable impact on printed textbook sales throughout the usage trial

• Is this usage worth the investment in audio, video etc to support text content?

• eTextbooks can address this if developed in line with user behaviours and expectations
