Net Working Capital
The information contained in this document is subject to change without notice. This document is not warranted to be error free.
• Purpose:
• Displays the gross and cash gross margin
percentages by fiscal month. An increase in cash
collections faster than sales reduces working capital
requirements. Similarly if cash inputs (due to
inventory and payables) as a % to COGS decreases,
then it indicates that inventory is managed better or
firm has received better credit terms from the
supplier. The cash gross margin will lead gross
margin if working capital is managed efficiently.
