ItineraryItinerary Day 1 - Depart from YOUR GATEWAY to Beijing.

Day 2 - Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Meet your experienced local guide and transfer to hotel.

Day 3 - Beijing (B,L,D) Morning, join in the fun at Temple of Heaven Park, where locals go to meet friends, and enjoy

their hobbies. You will see many interesting local activities and how Chinese seniors spend time in a healthy way. Con-

tinue to explore the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; you will find the example of classical Ming pe-

riod architecture. Before lunch, attend a pearl workshop learning how to purchase good quality freshwater pearls from

the largest producer. Continue visit the largest square in the world – Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, where

the last emperor resided; it is the largest collection of ancient wooden structures in the world with nearly 1,000 rooms in

over 800 buildings. Tonight enjoy a famous Peking Duck dinner.

Day 4 - Beijing (B,L) Full day visit the Great Wall, the 4,000-mile long and 2,000 years old construction is said to be the

only man-made structure visible from the moon. Learn about different category of Jade from the Jade Carving workshop.

Jade is the Imperial Jewelry for the Chinese. Explore the Old Beijing, Hutong by the rickshaw ride through the ancient

alleys. Visit a local family to experience their daily life. Evening, enjoy dinner at your own leisure.

Day 5 - Beijing to Xian (B,L,D) Fly to Xian, an ancient capital of China with over 3,000 years of history and eastern de-

parture point of the Silk Road. Learn about Xi'an's 1,300 year old Muslim community at the Muslim Quarter. Finish the

day with a dinner.

Day 6 - Xian (B,L) Explore the Eighth Wonder of the World, Terra Cotta Warriors Museum to see the excavation site

with more than 8,000 life-size army created during the Qin Dynasty. Taste the dumpling lunch, a Shanxi specialty. You

will see the dumplings made in various animal shapes. Afternoon, take a jog on the City Wall, the most well preserved

ancient military system in the world. Before return to the hotel, stop at the towering seventh century Big Wild Goose Pa-

goda, built to hold sacred Buddhist texts and artifacts brought back from India.

Day 7 - Fly to Guilin (B,D) Fly to Guilin, one of the best scenic cities in the world. Begin your journey with an Elephant

Trunk Hill. Enjoy dinner with the local cuisine. Guilin features a Cantonese style cuisine.

Day 8 - Guilin to Shanghai (B,L) Full day excursion on a Li River Cruise. Li River is the soul of Guilin scenery. Along the

river stand mainly karst hills which only found in Guilin. Enjoy lunch on board. Disembark in Yangshuo and explore the

famous West Street, the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Over the last 20-some years,

West Street has become a meeting place for eastern and western cultures, and the biggest ‗foreign language center‘ in

China. This evening, fly to the beautiful Shanghai, which also known as the ―Paris of the East.‖

Day 9 - Shanghai (B,L,D) Explore the past, present and future of Shanghai by walking along the Bund. Attend a silk

weaving workshop to learn about production of silk. Visit the classic garden, Yuyuan Garden and the busy Old Town

Bazaar. Drive along the former French Concession District. Tonight, enjoy a special farewell dinner to recapture the

unforgettable memories followed by a world famous acrobatic show.

Day 10 - Shanghai (B) Full day free at leisure or join an optional excursion to Suzhou, ‗Venice of the East‘ and best known

as the Garden City of China.

Day 11 - Shanghai to home (B) Fly to home.
