When a pupil is"droi^ped" he is riot a member of your school andhenci-cannot be considered as "absent" in the sensein rvhich the word ttabsent" is here used.Absence Urat is less than half a day will be re-ported as a half day's absence; for example, if a pu-pil comes before Ure closc of the forehoon recess,iount hinr tardy only; but if hc should not arriveuntil after the folenoon reccss, count him absent ahalf. day. Observe the same rule for the afternoonsessron.Total Number of Days of Attendance-This will bethe sunr of the days of attendance of all pupils en-rolled during the term.
