Eligibility: Players having the FIDE rating of 1699 and 1999 below as on 01 Oct 2014 (as per new rule) and Unrated are eligible

to participate in event (Below 1700) and (Below 2000) respectively.

Entry fee : Rapid : Rs. 3,000/- Blitz : Rs.1,000/- Below 2000 : Rs. 3,000/- Below1700 : Rs.4,000/-

(Gms / WGMs / IMs FREE for Rapid & Blitz)

Maximum Entry fee for Odisha Players : Rs. 3,000/- (Except Rapid & Blitz)

AOCA Registration : (Only for ODISHA Player) : AOCA registration fee for 2014-15 is compulsory for all Odisha participants. The

registration fee of Rs. 150/- , one photo with copy of DOB with proof will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players.

AICF Registration : AICF registration fee for 2014-15 is compulsory for all Indian participants. The registration fee ofRs. 250/-, one

photo with copy of DOB with proof will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players.

Chess Clock : Players are requested to bring their own chess clock (FIDE Approved).

Protests : Protest, if any, shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.1,000/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident. The

protest fee will be refunded, if the appeal is upheld.

Withdrawals : A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing Chief Arbiter in writing.

Right of Admission : AlCF/AOCA/Organiser reserve the right to admission / refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof.

Entry Registration : Entry may be given at the venue by Demand Draft, in favour of Ganjam District Chess Association Payable at st

Berhampur or in cash, at the venue. There will be a late fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged, if there is no prior intimation, before 1 October. st

Tie Break : In case of Tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however will not be shared.

Time Control :

Rapid : 25 mins. With 10 sec. increment from move no.1

Blitz : 3mins. With 2 sec. increment from move no.1

Below 2000 : 60 mins. With 30 sec. increment from move no. 1

Below 1700 : 60 mins. With 30 sec. increment from move no. 1

Accommodation & Food : All outstation players will be provided free food & accommodation. Accompanying persons will be charged
