     Note from John P. Strelecky

    Hi,

You have in front of you the 1001 Inspirational Quotes Book .

There are over one thousand, one hundred and fifty quotes in here. All are searchable

either by specific words, or by the person who said the quote.

For example if you want to find just the quotes with the word “heart”, you can go up to

the menu options and select Edit, and then select Search. On the right hand side of the

screen a window will appear where you can type in the word heart. Once you hit the

search button, all the locations with the word heart will be found, and links to them will

appear in the little window. Just click on the link, and it takes you right to the spot in the

     book where heart appears.

Super easy to use, and super useful.

As a writer of inspirational books, I use quotes quite a bit, and I found myself spending

hours searching through website after website to find what I wanted. Compiling this

     book was my solution.

It sounded easy, and then ended up taking WAY more time than I thought.

Nonetheless, it has saved me many, many hours since then, and I know it will do the

same for you. This way all the quotes are in one spot, they are searchable, and you don’t

need to be connected to the web to access them.

    Enjoy!

    John

“...character may almost be called the most effective means of persuasion...”

    Aristotle

“...leaders are people who are able to express themselves fully...they know who they are, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and how to fully deploy their strengths and

compensate for their weaknesses. They also know what they want, why they want it, and

how to communicate what they want to others, in order to gain compensation and

support. Finally, they know how to achieve their goals. The key to full self-expression is

understanding one's self and the world, and the key to understanding is learning--from

    one's own life and experience.”

    Warren Bennis

“...leadership is power to endure an ongoing quest for information or influence...not just

actual triumphs like making profits or achieving stated objectives.”

    Marsha Sinetar

“...positive attitudes...come in unlimited quantities. Everybody can have one free! “

    Harvey Mackay

“...power is not really good or bad; it is neutral. Power itself is not negative or positive,

although our feelings about it may be. Power is the potential to influence others for good

or evil, to be a blessing or a scourge. Like nuclear energy, it can provide the electricity to

light a city, or it can fuel the bomb that destroys it.”

    Blaine Lee

“...the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we

esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value.”

    Thomas Paine

“...until a person can say deeply and honestly, "I am what I am today because of the

choices I made yesterday," that person cannot say, "I choose otherwise." “

    Stephen Covey

“...we come to beginnings only at the end. “

    William Bridges

“A bold onset is half the battle.”

    Giuseppe Garibaldi

“A chain is as strong as its weakest link.”

    Harvey Mackay

“All things are created twice. There's a mental or first creation, and a physical or second

creation of all things. You have to make sure that the blueprint, the first creation, is really

what you want, that you've thought everything through. Then you put it into bricks and

mortar. Each day you go to the construction shed and pull out the blueprint to get

marching orders for the day. You begin with the end in mind. “

    Anonymous

“All work is empty save when there is love.”

“Almost all of the world-class athletes and other peak performers are visualizers. They

see it; they feel it; they experience it before they actually do it. They began with the end

in mind. You can do it in every area of your life. Before performance, a sales

presentation, a difficult confrontation, or the daily challenge of meeting a goal, see it

clearly, vividly, relentlessly, over and over again. Create an internal "comfort zone."

Then, when you get into the situation, it isn't foreign. It doesn't scare you. “

“But inaction itself is a kind of action, and it has consequences. Consistently and

absolutely maintained, inaction would necessarily lead to swift ruin; it would be a form

which darkly demands that I dare and find out what will happen. In my situation I bear

    Karl Jaspers

“But we cannot avoid conflict, conflict with society, other individuals and with oneself.

Conflicts may be the sources of defeat, lost life and a limitation of our potentiality but
