ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr. Tai has been an Invisalign certified orthodontist since 2000 and is currently an Invisalign Top 1% Diamond Provider who has treated over 1,400 cases with Invisalign. Dr. Tai has taught Invisalign at various universities worldwide. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics and the author of the textbook “Clear Aligner Technique:. Dr. Tai will discuss differences in treatment mechanics between fixed appliances and clear alingers, and will demonstrate a wide variety of malocclusions such as deep overbite, anterior open bite, Class II malocclusions and pre-molar extraction cases that may be routinely treated with clear aligners with excellent clinical outcomes.

In this highly dynamic lecture Dr. Tai will teach you about providing care to adult patients with clear aligners in performing extraction treatment and treatment of open bite and deep bite malocclusions. Topics to be discussed will include:

Premolar Extraction Treatment with Clear Aligners This program is designed to meet the needs of the practicing orthodontist and staff. OBJECTIVES: Following this course, participants should be able to: Identify the types of adult malocclusions best treated with

clear aligners. Treat patients with deep and open bites with clear aligners. Treat patients with Class II problems. Treat patients who require extraction of permanent teeth.

Assistant Professor in Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia and the Coordinator of the Invisalign University Program. She also maintains an active private practice in Vancouver, Canada, where she conducts Invisalign Immersion Courses.
