WHEN HOW

THE INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT TEAM !Now you are on the second page, meaning you want to know more about the tasks and other details regarding the IST* (International Support Team) !From November 1st to 9th, will take place two events. We need 30 volunteers to help for the World Congress and 40 more for the 100 anniversary. !The World Congress is the most important network meeting of AFS, it will take place for 5 days in Paris, at the Palais des Congrès, and about 250 people are expected. The task of the 30 volunteers will mainly be : Get people from the airport to Paris, help at the Venue, and other important tasks. The teams will meet a day and half before the WC starts. !Right after the WC ends, more than 1500 people from all over the world will gather in Paris for celebrating the 100th anniversary of AFS. The team of 30 will be joined by 40 more volunteers. The tasks will basically be the same as for the WC, except that it will be important to help everyone the entire day of November 8th and for the Gala Dinner in the evening. !Who will be in charge? A team of volunteers have been chosen in France, to manage the IST, Adrien Fernandez, Stéphanie Trilles, Edouard Verté, Adeline Batteux, Sarah Kouider and Samantha Boissy. !

SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? !Due to the number of participants and the language diversity it will be important that all Support Team member speaks English, french is a plus but not mandatory (french volunteers will also be part of the IST) Also, regarding french law, we need all members of the IST to be at least 18 years old. !While you’ll be in Paris, we will take care of the accommodation and transportation. In order to cover the whole teams in Paris, we won’t be able to cover the travel expense from your country to Paris, but if you are already in France, we can get you a train ticket in 2nd class - round trip. !
