Only let us hold true to what we have attained. 17 Brothers, join in
imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the
example you have in us.

Follow the pattern of the sound words
that you have heard from me, in the
faith and love that are in Christ
Jesus.

They serve a copy and shadow of the
heavenly things. For when Moses
was about to erect the tent, he was
instructed by God, saying, “See that
you make everything according to
the pattern that was shown you on
the mountain.”
We Have A Pattern for “congregational” Fellowship
Romans 12:4-5
For as in one body we have many
members, and the members do not all
have the same function, 5 so we,
though many, are one body in Christ,
and individually members one of
another.
We Have A Pattern for “congregational” Fellowship
1 Corinthians 10:16-17
The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The
bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is
one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.
NOT denominational or individual, but a family, a body!

LEADING AT THE EDGE
GOOD COMMUNICATION IS VITAL!
Leadership in a Body Encourages…
• Sharing a common identity, founded in God’s word
• Sharing in communication
• Sharing EVERYONE’S talents
Romans 12:4-6
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have
the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members
one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
The body has many parts and ALL have value.
Matthew 25
For it will be like a man going on a
journey, who called his servants and
entrusted to them his property. 15 To
one he gave five talents, to another
two, to another one, to each according
to his ability.
Everyone is gifted for stewardship
1 Corinthians 12:14
For the body does not consist of one
member but of many.
Everyone’s efforts are needed
Christian Leadership Understands “Body Language”
• Sharing a common identity
• Sharing communication
• And valuing the talents of everyone
