1 – Emotional Intelligence

● Be aware of your emotions● Manage your emotions● Be positive about yourself and your

environment

2 – Calm Mind Like Water

● Calm Mind● Mind Like Water● Be on top of things● Make to-do lists to free up “thinking

space” in your brain● Let your thoughts flow● Think things over

3 – Daily Practise

● Appreciate your here and now● Be thankful for what you have● Make it a daily practise to give thanks● Meditate or calm your mind (see 2)● Routine whatever you do

4 – Believe in what you do

● Have a go-get-it attitude● GTS – getting sh* done● Be positive● Be convinced about yourself● Convince others of yourself● Be a good leader to your team; lead by

example

5 – Do Things for Others

● Put other interests before yours● Think win/win● Look after the interest of everyone

involved● Create a positive environment and a

positive idea flow in your working environment

6 – Do it for Yourself

● This is not contradictory to no. 5● See the reason why you do what you

are doing● There is a reason in anything you do

and the job you do, the deal you close, the people you meet

● Use challenges as opportunities to grow● Be selfish (sometimes)

7 – Things for a Reason

● As of no. 6 there is a reason● Once you resolve one issue, there will

be another challenge to resolve● You will be given tasks by the greater

universe – embrace those● If you solved everything at your current

job, you will move on; if you leave before you do, you will get the same challenge again until you resolve it

8 – Love your Enemy

● Your enemy can be your challenge (no. 7)● Learn from your enemy● Learn from internal and external

stakeholders & enemies● Each challenge, each conversation, each

argument gives you an opportunity to grow

9 – Everything is going to be OK● Things are going to ok at the end. If they

aren’t ok, it isn’t the end.● Death comes to all of us human beings● No reason to mull things over and over,

some things just sort themselves out● Don’t worry

10 – Power of Now

● You can always ever change any given moment: NOW● Never forget this

● Your action might have an impact on the future

● Your action won’t have an impact on the past

● You cannot change anything past or before the NOW
