Confirmation Preparation Reminder Students. . .please fill out your form and bring it back to Sunday Mass Dec. 09/10.
Before any student receives the Sacrament of Confirmation, they must go to
confession. The date of confession will be held on Monday December 18,
at 7:00p.m. and Monday March 26, 2018 at 7:00p.m.
It is only after all steps have been completed that your son/daughter can be
accepted as a candidate for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The Artisans of St. Anthony’s would like to thank the parishioners for their
support and donations towards our Christmas sale. The proceeds have been donated to: St. Anthony of Padua Church; Jesus Well of Salvation; Sleeping Children Around the World; Covenant house; orphanage in India.

First Holy Communion Preparation
The First Confession Mandatory Classes are now complete.
The First Confession Dates will be held as follows: St. Anthony School, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School and the Parish Programme group of schools on Monday, January 08, 2018 from 6:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. St. John Brebeuf School and Lester B. Pearson School on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.
Advent Confessions
Monday, December 18 from 7-9pm Many priests will be available to hear individual confessions
The CWL will be having a Christmas International Pot Luck Supper
this week –date and location to be announced. Bring a food from your
country of origin, a guest, a gift each for a gift exchange (in the $10-15
range), and non-perishable items for Ste. Louise Outreach and the
Knights Table. Items needed are canned meat, canned fruit, mashed
potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, stove top stuffing, peanut butter, jam
& diapers size 3-5. After our supper, we will have a Christmas sing-
along, so please come and join us to celebrate the season.

requested tax receipts, the receipts will be mailed to
you soon. Your generosity in helping families in need this Christmas is
greatly appreciated.

Advent Retreat at St. Anthony’s: evenings of Mon, Tue, Wed, December 11, 12, 13 Companions of the Cross facilitating from 7-9pm

St. Anthony’s Knights of Columbus Council 9235 invites all boys and girls ages 5 to 14 to create a poster which highlights the significance of “Keeping CHRIST in Christmas. By engaging the talents of our young people, we hope they will come to a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Christmas, and that their artwork will bring others to remember Christ in Christmas. The contest will be conducted locally with winning entries advancing through district/regional and state competitions to the international level. The winning entries will serve as the basis for a series of international “Keep Christ in Christmas” posters, with creative credit going to the artists. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the winner at each level of the local competition. If you are interested in participating, please pick up a registration form at the Parish Office. When submitting your poster, please make sure it is accompanied with the registration form and have them stapled together. Your entry must be submitted at the Parish Office by 4:00pm on Friday December 15th, 2017. The winners will be announced the following week.
