Day 1: Sun, Sept 6 We pick up through our scheduled departure cities on our way to Maumee, OH for our first overnight. Day 4: Wed, Sept 9 Tour Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell and after lunch, depart for New York City. We have scheduled a guided tour of the United Nations Headquarters for this afternoon and later, a walk to famous Grand Central Terminal for a tour with our guide and dinner on your own. Catch the feeling of NYC with a subway ride to Times Square with time for shopping and taking in the hustle and bustle of this famous site. (B) Day 6: Fri, Sept 11 Peek in at the Today Show before our tour of the NBC Studios where we’ll see the sets of famous TV shows and learn about how they’re produced. Ascend 70 floors by elevator to the Top of the Rock Observation decks for a 360 degree view of all of Manhattan Island, Central Park, the Hudson and East Rivers and myriad of buildings and bridges. Shop and get lunch on your own in the Rockefeller Plaza area before meeting at the majestic St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Hop on a subway to the Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall area for a walking tour. Tonight enjoy shopping and a lively and entertaining Italian dining experience in Chinatown /Little Italy. Day 9: Mon, Sept 14 Travel along the southern edge of Lake Erie to our evening’s destination, South Bend, IN. We’ll stop at Notre Dame Heritage Hall Purcell Pavilion as time allows. We’ll enjoy our last night together with a farewell dinner at the Fiddler’s Hearth Restaurant. (B,D)

Day 10: Tues, Sept 15 Travel home, filled with wonderful memories of our exciting travels through the rolling, forested hills of Pennsylvania, fabulous historic Philadelphia, our NYC big city adventures, and the beauty of the wine country and Niagara Falls in Upstate New York. (B)

Day 8: Sun, Sept 13 Travel north to the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. Have lunch at Ginny Lee’s Café before a tour and tasting experience at Wagner’s Vineyard. Later we travel to Niagara Falls for an adventure on the Maid of the Mist, with water rushing all around us as we ferry near the thunderous falls. We overnight in Niagara Falls with time to explore the hotel, the casino and many downtown shops and restau-rants. (B,L)

Day 7: Sat, Sept 12 Take a morning stroll with your guide through Central Park from Strawberry Fields, Yoko Ono’s garden tribute to her late husband, John Lennon, past the Bethesda Fountain and Bow Bridge, the lake and Loeh’s Boathouse. See New Yorkers relaxing on bikes, roller blades, walking puppies and taking in the green oasis in the middle of bustling New York City. Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art with our guide helping you to enjoy this magnificent museum. Lunch on your own at the Met Café before an afternoon performance of the Broadway Musical, “Jersey Boys”. Later, back at our hotel we’ll freshen up for a wonderful dinner at the Bonefish Grill in Secaucus, NJ. (B,D)
