DOUBLE COAT

SINGLE COAT

• A dog with a single coat just has the top coat. The fleecy under coat is not present in dogs with a single coat. Since these dogs don’t have an under coat, their body is more affected by extreme temperatures unlike their counterparts.

• Making them wear a dog raincoat or a sweater will protect them from harsh weather conditions. Unlike dogs with a double coat, single coat dogs do not shed their fur. So you will find less fur on your bed or mattress if your dog has a single coat.
