Certified reference material (CRM)28th Meeting of REMCO, Geneva April 2005

An RM characterized by a metrologically valid procedure for one or more specified properties, accompanied by a certificate that states the value of the specified property, its associated uncertainty, and a statement of metrological traceability.

NOTES1. The concept of value includes qualitative attributes such as identity or

sequence. Uncertainties for such attributes may be expressed as probabilities.2. Metrologically valid procedures for the production and certification of

reference materials are given in, among others, ISO Guides 34 and 35.3. ISO Guide 31 gives guidance on the contents of certificates.

특정 특성값과 관련 불확도 및 계량학적으로 소급성이 언급된 인증서가 있는하나 또는 그 이상의 특성값에 대해 계량학적으로 유효한 절차에 의해특성화된 표준물질

1. 특성 또는 연속성과 같은 양적 속성을 포함하는 값의 개념, 이러한 속성에 대한 불확도는 확률로서 표현

2. 표준물질의 생산 및 인증에 대해 계량학적으로 유효한 공정은 ISO Guide 34 및 35에 주어짐

3. 인증표준물질은 하나 이상의 인증 특성값을 갖을 수 있음

Material, sufficiently homogeneous and stablewith respect to one or more specified properties, which has been established to be fit for its intended use in a measurement process.

Notes:1. RM is a generic term.2. Properties can be quantitative or qualitative, e.g., identity of substances

or species.3. Uses may include the calibration of a measurement system, assessment of

a measurement procedure, assigning values to other materials, and quality control.

4. An RM can only be used for a single purpose in a given measurement.

측정공정 중 의도된 목적에 맞도록 만들어진 하나 또는 그이상의 특정 특성에 관하여 충분히 균질하고 안정적인 물질

1. 표준물질은 일반적 용어(Generic term)로 사용2. 특성은 정량적이거나 정성적일 수 있음3. 측정시스템 교정, 다른 물질의 값을 부여하는 측정공정의 평가 및 품질관리에 사용될 수 있음4. 표준물질은 주어진 측정의 단일 목적에 대해서만 사용 될 수 있음


Quality Control Material(QCM)

RM 중 품질관리를 위해 사용되는 표준물질로서 , 대부분내부사용을 목적으로 시험실에서 생산되고 내부표준물질, 품질관리물질, check sample 등으로 언급되며, 다음과 같은사용 목적에 따라 QCM을 구분

제15조 (표준물질의 인증 및 보급)① 정부는 측정기기의 교정, 정밀측정, 물성평가에

필요한 표준물질의 개발과 생산을 장려하고인증하여 이를 산업계, 과학기술계, 교육계 등에보급하여야 한다.

② 표준물질의 인증과 보급에 관하여 필요한사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.

제13조 (표준물질의 인증 및 보급)① 법 제15조 제2항의 규정에 의하여 산업자원부장관은

표준물질의 인증 및 보급에 관하여 다음 각호의 사업을할 수 있다.1. 인증된 표준물질의 국가측정표준과의 소급성 체계 유지2. 표준물질 인증기준 및 절차의 수립 기타 인증제도의 운영3. 표준물질의 안정적 공급방법의 강구4. 표준물질에 관한 교육․홍보 등 보급사업

② 제1항의 규정에 의한 표준물질의 인증제도의 운영에관하여 필요한 사항은 산업자원부장관이 정하여고시한다.
