    1.04 SUBMITTALS

    A. Comply with Section 01 33 00.

    B. Product Data: Submit to the Engineer for approval manufacturers catalog cuts on items specified herein and obtain approval prior to delivery.

    C. Accessories Schedule: 90 days after the award of the contract, prepare and submit for approval, six (6) copies, with electronic disc, of an accessories schedule listing accessories to be provided. Manufacturers, catalogue references, type, number, finish and location of each item shall be furnished. Lists not complying with the above shall be considered incomplete and shall be returned for revision.

    D. Prior to submittal of the final schedule and prior to the final ordering of material, submit one sample for each type of accessory finish required for project, and tagged with full description for coordination with the schedule.

    E. Samples will be returned upon the request and at the expense of the Contractor.

    F. Samples: Submit one sample of each component, illustrating color and finish.

    G. Manufacturer's Installation Instructions: Indicate special procedures, perimeter conditions requiring special attention.

    1.05 REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

    A. Conform to ANSI A 117.1 code for access for the handicapped.

    1.06 FIELD MEASUREMENTS

    A. Verify that field measurements are as instructed by the manufacturer.

    1.07 COORDINATION

    A. Comply with Division 01.

    B. Coordinate the work with the placement of internal wall reinforcement and reinforcement to receive anchor attachments.

    1.08 WARRANTY

    A. Comply with Section 01 78 36.

    B. Provide 3 year manufacturers warranty for toilet and bath accessories.

    C. Correct defective work within a 3 year period after Substantial Completion and include for replacement and making good any damage caused during replacement.

    PART 2: PRODUCTS 2.01 MATERIALS

    A. Sheet Steel: ASTM A 366.

    B. Stainless Steel Sheet: ASTM A 167, Type 304.

    C. Tubing: ASTM A 269, stainless steel.

    D. Adhesive: Two component epoxy type waterproof.

    E. Fasteners, Screws, and Bolts: Stainless steel.

    F. Expansion Shields: Fiber, lead, or rubber as recommended by Accessory manufacturer for component and substrate.

    G. Stainless Steel: When used for metal accessories and shall be AISI Type 302 or 304. Exposed surfaces of stainless steel shall receive a No. 4 satin finish as approved by the Engineer.

    H. Galvanized Steel: ASTM A 525.

    I. Chrome Plating: When specified shall be applied over a coating of nickel. On steel, the nickel coating shall be applied over a coating of copper. Chrome plated surfaces shall receive a US26D finish, as approved by the Engineer. Die-cast base metal is not acceptable.

    J. Fastening Devices: Anchors, clips, screws, bolts, expansion shields and plates shall be furnished with each accessory as required by the type of accessory and the construction to which it is attached, and shall be concealed where possible. Finish of exposed fastening devices shall match that of the accessory. Exposed to view fastening devices shall be tamper-resistant.

    K. Ceramic Accessories: In accordance with ANSI A 137.1 color and finish to match surrounding tiling unless otherwise indicated.

    L. Mirrors: Locations and size shown on the Drawings or listed in the Schedules shall be framed with satin finished stainless steel, with corners welded, ground smooth and finished to match adjacent surfaces. Mirror shall have theft-resistant concealed mountings with two set screws. Glass for mirrors shall be "silvering" quality, conforming to Federal Specification DD-G-00451. Mirrors shall receive two coats of silver and electrolytically clad copper.

    M. White Enamel Finish: As indicated, shall be applied to exposed surfaces of galvanized sheet steel which shall be bonderized after fabrication and finished with durable baked white enamel.

    N. Sound-Deadening Material: Provide at the back of recessed toilet room accessories. Apply appropriate and approved material by spraying or troweling to a thickness of not less than 3.2 mm.

    2.02 ACCESSORIES

    A. General: Provide products of the same manufacturer for each type of accessory unit and for units exposed in the same areas, unless otherwise acceptable to the Engineer.

    B. Multi-Roll Toilet Paper Holder: Surface mounted, reserve roll type; 0.7 mm, 304 stainless steel door and cabinet; satin finish all exposed surfaces; tumbler lock; approximately 150 mm wide, 275 mm high, 150 mm deep. Hem exposed edges.

    C. Paper Towel Cabinet/Waste Receptacle: Recessed mounted, combination towel dispenser and waste receptacle; 0.7 mm, 304 stainless steel door, cabinet and waste container; towel capacity, 600 C-fold or 800 multi-fold; waste container capacity, 45 l; tumbler lock towel dispenser and waste container; approximately 142 mm high by 400 mm wide; for mounting in 100 mm wall. Provide vinyl liner for waste and equip steel waste container with hanger hooks for vinyl liner.

    D. Soap Dispenser: Lavatory mounted soap dispenser with 100 mm spout and 470 ml plastic container mounted below countertop.

    E. Mirror With Frame - Without Shelf: 6 mm float or plate glass, electro-copper plated mirror guaranteed for 15 years against silver spoilage. 304 stainless steel with satin finish angle frame, 0.7 mm, approximately 16 mm x 16 mm with corners mitered, welded and ground smooth. 0.9 mm galvanized steel back, concealed mounting devices.

    F. Single Coat Hook: Satin stain steel, surface mounted coat hook. Provide complete with stainless steel mounting screws designed for specific substrate (include plugs or expansion shields where required). Size: 32 mm x 32 mm x 28 mm projection.

    G. Mop and Broom Holder with Shelf : 304 stainless steel, satin finish, not less than 0.7 mm; 200 mm wide shelf, length as indicated. Hem exposed edges.

    H. Key accessories alike.

    2.03 FABRICATION

    A. Weld and grind joints of fabricated components, smooth.

    B. Form exposed surfaces from single sheet of stock, free of joints. Form surfaces flat without distortion. Maintain surfaces without scratches or dents.

    C. Fabricate grab bars of tubing, free of visible joints, return to wall with end attachment flanges. Form bar with 50 mm clear of wall surface.

    D. Shop assemble components and package complete with anchors and fittings.

    E. Provide steel anchor plates, adapters, and anchor components for installation.

    2.04 FINISHES

    A. Galvanizing: ASTM A 123 to 380 g/m2

    B. Shop Primed Ferrous Metals: Pre-treat and clean, spray apply one coat primer and bake.

    galvanized ferrous metal and fastening devices.

    C. Enamel: Pre-treat to clean condition, apply one coat primer and minimum two coats electrostatic baked enamel.

    D. Chrome/Nickel Plating: ASTM B 456, Type SC 2 polished finish.

    E. Stainless Steel: No. 4 satin brushed finish.

    F. Back paint components where contact is made with building finishes to prevent electrolysis.

    G. Ceramic Accessories: Finish matching adjacent tiling. PART 3: EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION

    A. Comply with Division 01.

    B. Verify that site conditions are ready to receive work and dimensions are as instructed by the manufacturer.

    C. Verify exact location of accessories for installation.

    3.02 PREPARATION

    A. Deliver inserts and rough-in frames to site for timely installation.

    B. Templates: Furnish to the Toilet Partition subcontractor templates required to locate drilled holes and cutouts for installation of bearing support to all partition mounted accessories.

    C. Provide templates and rough-in measurements as required.

    3.03 INSTALLATION

    A. Install accessories in accordance with manufacturers instructions and ANSI A117.1.

    B. Install plumb and level, securely and rigidly anchored to substrate.

    C. Toilet Room Accessories: Install where shown on the Drawings, as recommended by the manufacturer and as directed by the Engineer, rigidly secured and shall be in perfect alignment with other fixtures.

    D. Mirrors: Install in a perfectly flat plane, showing no distortion of image, in strict conformance with approved shop drawings.

    E. Metal Trim: Items exposed in the finished work shall be free from buckle, warping and oil-canning effects. Metal to metal contact shall have hairline joints.

    F. Use concealed fastenings wherever possible.

    G. Provide anchors, bolts and other necessary anchorages, and attach accessories securely to walls and partitions in locations as shown or directed.

    H. Install concealed mounting devices and fasteners fabricated of the same material as the accessories, or of galvanized steel, as recommended by the manufacturer.

    I. Install exposed mounting devices and fasteners finished to match the accessories.

    J. Provide theft-resistant fasteners for accessory mountings.

    K. Secure toilet room accessories in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for each item and each type of substrate construction.

    L. Install ceramic accessories in accordance with Section 09 30 13.

    3.04 PROTECTION AND ACCEPTANCE

    A. Comply with Section 01 77 00.

    B. Suitably protect work in order to maintain finishes in perfect condition until Substantial Completion and acceptance. Any changed or defective work shall be removed and replaced at no additional cost to the Owner.

    C. Finished installation shall be sound and free from defects of materials and workmanship. After the inspection of the installation and its approval by the Engineer, protection, labels, smears and stains shall be removed and mirrors shall be washed clean.
