This seminar will emphasize the concept and practice of reducing disaster risks through systematic efforts to analyze and reduce the causal factors of disasters. Wise management of crops and the environment using innovative disaster prevention technologies and the setup of the early warning systems by ICT techniques to send the disaster messages to farmers help evaluate the vulnerability of cultivation and economic losses by disaster. On the other hand, we invite ICT vendors to demonstrate the latest products for environmental monitoring and crop disaster (or cultivation) warning system. The meeting will be conducted through multidimensional discussion. It will help in the development of climate smart agriculture and reduce the impact of natural hazards on food production systems.
