Overview:Thisworkshopwillexploreeffectivewaystosuccessfullyintoclassroomteachingandlearning.Participantswilllearnhowtomaximisestudentengagementandaddressthediverserangeoflearnerneedsinaclassroomenvironmentthroughtechnologyintegration.ParticipantswillsharetheircurrentdigitalteachingandlearningexperiencesinadiscussionthroughaninteractivecollaborationusingTodaysMeet.PracticalideasandwaystoimplementandintegrateTodaysMeetacrossthecurriculumwillbeshared,discussedandanalysed.ParticipantswillalsoexplorehowNearpodcanbeusedtoextendandengagestudentsacrossarangeofKeyLearningAreas.TheywillbeprovidedwithwaystoeffectivelyimplementNearpodinaclassroomsettingwithafocusandworkingmathematicallystrand–mathematicalreasoning,studentaccountability,interactiveproblemsolving,effectivereflectionandobservationofpeers’strategiesused.Participantswillengageinahands-onexperienceutilisingNearpodexploringthevariousfeaturesitoffersandhowtouseVirtualRealityasarelevantandexcitinglearningfeature.TheworkshopwillshowsharedexamplesofhowFlipGridiseffectivelyusedinclassroomteachingandlearning.Discussionofhowthisappcanbeeffectivelyimplementedacrossvariouslearningprograms–e.g.,readinggroupactivities,studentgoalsetting,reflectionandfortheplanningoreditingprocessofawritinglesson.Requirements:ParticipantstobringiPads.IPadswillalsobeavailabletoborrow.
