Ngāi Tūmapūhia-a-Rangi ki Mōtūwairaka Inc & Ngāi Tūmapūhia-a-Rangi ki Ōkautete Inc have Customary Marine Title and Protected Customary Rights on the landward side by the line of the mean high-water springs; on the seaward side by the outer limits of the territorial seas; on the northward side inclusive of all places of cultural significance from a line that extends from the coast abutting the Whareama River to the outer limits of the territorial seas, and on the southward by a line that extends from the coast abutting Te Awhea River inclusive of all places of cultural significance, to the outer limits of the territorial seas inclusive of all the coastline to Te Awhea in the south.
