My name is Mary. I want to tell you about my experience studying

abroad in Paris for a full year. I studied French literature. I lived in a

dorm. At first, it was hard to get used to a new country. I spoke some

French, but the language barrier was still a problem. I had to deal with

loneliness. I felt homesick. I made an effort to improve my French. Life

became much easier. I made plenty of new friends and began to enjoy

my surroundings and independence. By the end of my stay in France, I

spoke excellent French. Overall, my year in Paris was one of the best of

my entire life. If you have a chance to study abroad, just do it!

into things. You should think your options through carefully. Making a list

of reasons for and against a choice can help you decide. Give each
