Air monitoring observations

conducted in 28 localities in 78

observation posts, including 22 automatic

Monitoring the quality status of surface water

observations are carried out for 85 waterbody,

including on 58 rivers, 11 lakes, 12 reservoirs, 3

channels, 1 sea

Monitoring of soil pollution monitoring soil is in 23 localities

Radiation Monitoring the fallout is carried by 43

Scientific development

Working out new and improvement of existing methods of hydrometeorological and sea forecasts, modeling of a river drain and water balance of midland reservoirs, adaptation of numerical models of forecasting for Kazakhstan

Estimation of climatic and water resources, their changes in time, and also formation and development of debris and dangerous erosive processes

Environmental studies of regional ecosystems

Working out standard – methodical documents and methods of calculation of economic efficiency

Planned activity in RTCGM:

● preparation and retraining of experts for divisions of hydrometeorological service;

● hydrometeorological service of the population and branches of economy of Republic Kazakhstan; ● regular supervision over a state of environment;

● perfection of methods forecasting the hydrometeorological phenomena;

●conducting hydrometeorological organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of contracts, research and technological activities;

● preparation and the edition of the scientific - technical and scientifically-applied literature on a state of environment, about climatic, agroclimatic conditions and water resources in territory of Kazakhstan;

● realization when due hereunder communications and information interchange with the international organizations, the conclusion with them of contracts on the questions concerning its activity;

● rendering of reference services in questions of influence of weather conditions and climate changes on population health, ability to live of the enterprises and the organizations;

● other kinds of activity following from tasks in view, according to the Republic Kazakhstan legislation.
