2 Introduction
2.1 Welcome to Train Consist Application
The 1-Stop train consist application allows you to submit train consist messages to terminals on the web
or via CSV or via EDI.
The purpose of the Train consist message is to advise the terminals of the arrival of an impending train
and other related details such as wagons and containers in the train as well as the exact train
configuration. It is expected that users will comply with the business rules of submitting the relevant
PRAs for the containers on the train. Otherwise, if an accepted PRA has not been submitted, the cargo
may not be unloaded in the terminal.
Users, particular Web users of 1-Stop’s Train consist application can expect to have the flexibility of
editing existing messages, cancelling messages, creating copies of existing messages, saving drafts for
later submission and merging multiple draft messages. These are discussed in detailed in the following
sections.
Alternatively you can use the Table of Contents to jump to the desired topic.
2.2 Access to Train Consist Application
Before you can begin using the Train Consist application, whether if you are a Web user, a CSV user or
an EDI user, an authorised delegate must contact the 1-Stop Helpdesk via email [email protected]
or phone (1300 881 055) to request access.
Please prepare the following details before contacting the helpdesk
- Company Name & ABN,
- Employee name & Contact Details
The helpdesk will set-up the required details and will revert with further information. It is the
responsibility of the terminal operator or rail operator organisation to inform the 1-Stop Helpdesk in
writing if the employee ceases to be employed by the terminal, so access can be repealed.

4 CSV & EDI Messages
1-Stop offers an alternative choice for users to submit the train consist message other than using the
Web screens. They can choose to transmit a CSV or EDI message to the 1-Stop system. 1-Stop will
then translate these files accordingly and pass it to the terminals.
The CSV and EDI file sent to 1-Stop has to conform to 1-Stop’s message standard. For further
enquiries, please contact the helpdesk (1300 881 055).
