Human Resources Update

Longevity

• Preliminary mode report ran on 9/1/2004; second preliminary report scheduled to run on 9/28/2004– Includes Processed and Exception Reports

• Accuracy of processed reports dependent on completion of Task 73 or updates made to Professional Experience Date– Shows the new Professional Experience Date (Longevity Date)

– Provides the October Longevity Payment amount

Longevity

• Agencies with exceptions should do the following:– Enter manually using the TRC of XLNGA in Weekly Elapsed Time– If a self service agency, use Additional Pay for your entries

• Final Mode will be processed on 10/18/2004– Professional Experience Date will then be updated on the

Employment Data tab– Longevity Payment amount will be entered in the Additional Pay

page

• Job Aid resources on the Core-CT website– See Longevity Processing, Longevity Exceptions, and

Professional Experience (Longevity) Date Processing 10/1/2004

Time & Labor Update

Exceptions

• It is imperative that agencies clear all exceptions– Impacts Time Administration– If Agencies need to inactivate employees on a day other than Friday, log

a ticket with the Help Desk

• Time and Labor Team currently working on clearing existing exceptions– Employees inactivated in Time Reporter Data– Attendance deleted from Weekly Elapsed time page– Employees enrolled in Zero_Hour Schedule

Time and Labor Update

Prior Period Adjustments

• Agencies should not make more than four pay periods of adjustments

in any one pay period.– Effect of Rules Processing

• If more than four pay periods of adjustments are needed, they should be processed in the following manner:– Calculate the adjustment amount

– Use the Additional Pay page to pay or collect the adjustment amount using the appropriate Earnings code

– Record the changes in attendance on the Adjust Paid Time page

GAAP Report

• GAAP Report has been created based on Office of the Comptroller requirements and Agency needs

• Agencies with suggestions for improving the report should log a ticket with the Help Desk

• Suggestions will be considered for next year’s report
