The Story of the 3 Little Pigs..

◦ The original story..

◦ The three little pigs are sent out of their home to live on their own.

◦ They all need to build a home.

◦ The first pig builds it out of straw, the second out of sticks, and the third out of bricks.

◦ The big bad wolf comes by each home and says “Little pig, little pig, let me in!” and the pig says “No, no, not by the hair on my chiny, chin, chin!” And the wolf says “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down!”

◦ The straw house blew down, the stick house blew down but the brick house did not!

◦ The third little pig scared the wolf. The wolf came down the chimney to get the little pig and fell into a pot of boiling water. The pig cooked him and ate him for dinner. Yum!

Page 3: 1 st Grade-Reading

◦ The three little wolves are asked to leave their home by their mother wolf.

◦ The three little wolves build their homes.

◦ The first one out of straw, the second out of sticks..

◦ But none of these worked! Then they used concrete, bricks, barbed

Wire but still the Big Bad Pig was able to get through.

◦ Then finally, the wolves got some beautiful flowers! The pig found

Scent of the flowers to be so lovely he became very pleasant.

◦ The pig came to live with the three wolves and they enjoyed tea

Together!

The True Story of the Three Little Pigs!

◦ See, the way A. Wolf tells it, he was framed. He was making a cake for his dear old granny when he ran out of sugar and went to the neighbors'. Just because he had a rotten cold, was it his fault those houses fell down when he huffed, puffed, and sneezed? And, hey, if those piggies were killed, wouldn't it have been a shame ''to leave a perfectly good ham dinner lying there in the straw''?

◦ Like any jailed junk-bond manipulator, A. Wolf is a master con artist. He slyly incriminates his victims, wheedles and cajoles his readers, and pleads discrimination: ''I don't know how this whole Big Bad Wolf thing got started, but it's all wrong it's not my fault wolves eat cute little animals like bunnies and sheep and pigs.''
