Places to visit: Torre de la Miranda

Torre de la Miranda is an emblematic building of Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona.

It was ordered by Arnau Mercader, next to his palace on Can Mercader’s park. It was build as a balcony to see birds and as an astronomical observatory.

Can Mercader’s park is located near Torre de la Miranda. It is wonderful and full of life. There are lots of birds and ducks living here.

It was the house of Mercader’s count. Nowadays it is a public space.

The Cornellà-El Prat Stadium (or RCDE stadium) is where Espanyol plays. It attracts lots of tourists and also Espanyol fans.
