West African Corridors (2) 2. Study/workshop on institutional and legal

framework Three ongoing studies on transit system and

guarantee regime, border posts and corridor management legal status (NEPAD and AfDB financing)

Validation workshops will be organized before end of 2004 (RECs and donors financing)

Support from SSATP may be sought to help update of national regulations to comply with agreed regional legal provisions.

No progress on ECCAS-CEMAC No action undertaken involving Africa wide

inter REC cooperation or multi corridor issues since the Nairobi Feb 2004 meeting.
