Field ProceduresField Procedures• Check in with local personnel• Orient yourself with the layout

– Network definition drawing– Landmarks

• Pick a section to start– Use wheel (GPS if available)– Find the sample unit and mark

• Begin, end, rt, lt SU number inside

– Fill out data form or select the section and SU on PDA (laptop)

• Observe, identify, quantify, record distress• Proceed to next SU on route

• Check in with local personnel• Orient yourself with the layout
