Background

• MAM Identity held currently in UK Link Systems– MAM Id is currently deleted following Change of Shipper event

• Suppliers are obliged to provide the MAM Identity once appointed• UNC Modification 437 proposes this obligation is not changed –

i.e. Suppliers are still obliged to flow this information– Eliminates change from Supplier / Shipper systems

• UNC Modification 437 is a Class 3 UK Link Modification– i.e. Users pay for changes to Transporter systems– UNC Section U specifies that in such circumstances a UNC

• Reporting on population of Blank MAM Id– Circa 300k population ‘Blank’ of 21M Meter Points

• Additional reporting population where not updated since Change of Shipper event?

– Enables monitoring and ensures Shippers / Suppliers fulfil obligation to notify at MAM Appointment

– Retains visibility of ‘problem’ Meter Points

– Not currently in the ROM cost
