These Criminal Petitions coming on for Final Disposal

this day, the court made the following:

O R D E R

These petitions are disposed of by this common order in

the following background:-

The petitioner is the accused in the individual complaints

filed by the respondents in each of these cases, alleging

offences punishable under the several provisions of the Indian

Penal Code,1860. These proceedings are sought to be

challenged in the present petitions.

2. In the meanwhile, it transpires that there has been

settlement in favour of the respective complainants, wherein in

some cases, either the complainants have been satisfied that

they have been put in possession of the land that was

purchased, which according to them was defective or not

available and in other cases, there have been monetary

settlements in lieu of the sale transaction. Therefore, the said

settlements have been duly acknowledged by each of the

respondents, whereby affidavits have been filed in the

following cases, before this court, acknowledging such

settlement:

before the court below seeking to compound the matters:
















However, since the offences alleged were non-

compoundable and given the law as laid down by the

Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh vs. State of
