Contributions to ARM• Falanx • Prof. Natvig supervised the

Falanx entrepreneurs Borgar, Edvard, Jørn and Mario in their 5th year projects and master thesis work.

• Part of the ”build-up phase” for Falanx, later acquired by ARM.

• More student projects supervised during the first Falanx years and later with ARM

Contributions to ATMEL• Prof. Natvig has supervised ≈15

projects in cooperation with ATMEL over the last 10 years. Some of these became part of, or influenced ATMEL products.

• ≈ 200 employes in Trondheim.• Recent product is maXTouch

used in Samsung Galaxy S. • ATMEL has contributed to

NTNU with teaching, supervision of PhD-students, examination and lab-equipment.
