Our Education Technology Client has Cloud based Saas application to attract young people with

varying degrees of interest and passion for technology. Through this application, client offers training

courses for those who are interested. Client wanted that users should be able to have an excellent &

secure experience of using this cloud based Saas solution which offers them retrieving non

interruptive education material, videos, webinars at a faster rate.

Solution

Our Mobilyte team came up with an idea to create a team of talented and skilled professionals who

were involved in gathering business requirements, conduct walkthroughs, demos to client and can

have control on testing process while closely working with developers. Mobilyte identified Dev-QAs

who use to run various types of tests before the build deployment in Testing environment. QA process

standards and metrics were identified and enforced. The QA practices that Mobilyte put forward

simplified the process and speeded up the development cycles. Communication was streamlined

with our in house tool for issue tracking with Designers, developers, stakeholders and QA.Mobilyte

team did feasibility of tools and recommended client with testing tools. Mobilyte's approach was built

around success points such as team readiness, effective communication, domain knowledge,

Types of testing we Mobilyte performed for this client:

Mobilyte performed performance testing on cloud as well as on API/Web services levels by

identifying performance issues and bottlenecks, application's reliability to support anticipated

user loads in different infrastructure configurations/environments.

Mobilyte performed smoke testing, functional testing, integration testing, end to end testing and

regression testing as a part of manual effort.

Mobilyte performed application security testing to identify, analyze and report vulnerabilities in

application. Security testing was based on risk based modeling and OWASP(Open Web

Application Security Project) industry standards were adopted.

Usability testing, responsiveness testing and User Experience testing was done by Mobilyte's QA

team members who were matched according to education domain expertise, hobbies in e-

learning, belonging to different demographics and geographic locations.
