Academic Committee Mission

• The primary forum for the academic community within CII to provide its expertise in both research methodology and subject matter to the institute.

Breakthrough Strategy Committee

• Mission: To develop a process that will insure adequate generation of breakthrough research and other ideas and opportunities in support of other CII core processes.

• Vision: To establish a long term process in which CII continues to identify, nurture, develop and harvest breakthrough ideas for capital project delivery for the benefit of CII members.

• Mission: Engage members to implement CII practices. Promote participation in activities and utilization of knowledge to implement work practices and manage change.

• Vision: Establish use of the CII knowledgebase as an indispensable resource to integrate work practices, improve communication and, manage change in everyday work activities.

• Provides management and oversight of CII’s body of knowledge and supports the Communities of Practice

– Identify emerging Best Practices– Establish and expand Communities of Practice to collaborate and focus

Performance Assessment Committee

• Develops policy and procedures, provides oversight, and recommends a strategic approach to CII’s collection, analysis, and dissemination of industry data.

• Develops key definitions to guide the effort and identifies critical measurements needed for identification of best practices and management of a continuous improvement program.

• Interfaces with Benchmarking Associates, who are trained member organization representatives, for collection of data and interpretation and dissemination of benchmarking results.
