• A standard document file that usually has multiple pages, etc.
• Widely supported (Mac, Windows, mobile devices)
• Apps: Preview, Adobe Reader, etc.• You might see this used for:
• Books• Legal documents• Posters

Goal: To end up with a new pdf that has a subset of the pages from the original.

Slicing a PDF: Steps
1. Open the “Thumbnails” tray
2. Select pages you want: hold and click.⌘3. Copy: C (Edit > Copy)⌘4. New From Clipboard:
