Paath – Natyashala – Workshops on using street theatre were conducted which addressed the topics like choice of the topic / theme; script writing, voice modulation and Interpersonal Communications. Two sessions were conducted by Mr. Vijendra Kadam (a theatre artist from marathi stage) and a series were conducted by Ms. Asha Gala. The students were divided into groups and choose their own topics and performed short skits in the College, in Dharavi and in Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali. Students showed interest that this art can be further developed in future with detailed rigorous training. The students also witnessed a professional play ‘ Samate kase Vatchaal’ performed by Shree Mukti Sanghatana and interested with writer-director Ms. Jyoti Mhapsekar.TRANSCRIPT
