Care & MaintenanceCaring for your Hardwood Plus G5 floor is easy. Vacuum or sweep the floor to remove dirt and debris, and use a slightly damp (but not wet) mop for regular cleaning. For preventative care, entrance mats and rugs in high wear areas should be considered, together with felt protectors for furniture and appliances.

In partnership with one of world’s leading suppliers, the Australian timbers that make up part of the Hardwood Plus G5 range are sustainably sourced from certified forests, giving you confidence that your choice is an ethical one.

All native timbers are of the highest grade, with only a touch of feature, creating a natural sleek look that will add value to your home. Choose the earthy and rich tones of Spotted Gum or Sydney Blue Gum, or the blonder, more consistent colours of Blackbutt or Tasmanian Oak.

Stained Oaks to Match Latest Interior Design TrendsAmerican Oak timber, plentiful in supply, has long been prized by architects for its fine grain structure, which gives it excellent staining potential. Not only does the grain structure create an appealing visual aesthetic, it also has a fine texture for a natural and rustic feel underfoot.

Sustainably sourced, and available in four popular stains from dark to light, Hardwood Plus G5 American Oak is manufactured with a 3.5mm veneer, offering great potential for re-staining, either in its original colour, or with an alternative stain, after a light re-sand.

Hush Platinum UnderlayHush Platinum is a good quality, high density, affordable 2mm thick underlay, suitable for use under most floating floors. Utilising a peel and stick moisture film, it incorporates a 0.6mm damp-proof sheet designed to create a barrier, keeping installations costs down. Complying with the BCA code on noise transmission, it offers an acceptable acoustic performance. Impactamat Acoustic Rubber Underlay should be considered if a higher acoustic performance is required.

ImpactaMat Acoustic Flooring UnderlayEmbelton’s premier acoustic underlay. Made from recycled rubber and bound together with a waterproof flexible binder, ImpactaMat is proven to achieve significant reductions in structure-borne noise, while also offering reductions in airborne noise (reflected noise in a room). It is versatile, easy to lay, and can be glued down or loose laid underneath tiles, timber, bamboo, laminate, cork, concrete screeds and even carpet.
