Job Description JOB TITLE: Senior Reporting Analyst DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Head Office REPORTS TO: Planning & Analysis Manager ISSUED: September 2012 Overall Purpose of job This is a high profile role, preparing detailed reports, presentations and analyses on Key Performance Indicators to senior internal and external management including KMUK CEO, KME COO and CEO, and visiting senior management from KMC. The role incorporates all Korean language reporting and all regular KME and KMC reports prepared by the Planning & Analysis team. Key Responsibilities The following is a non exhaustive list of responsibilities for the role: As required by external customers (KMC, KME, the CEO and the Sales Co-ordinator), prepare monthly standard Korean and English language reporting primarily on sales (market demand and Kia sales), stock and production performance and analysis, and secondarily on marketing, customer and dealer incentives, dealer development, and aftersales performance and analysis, in liaison with colleagues in Planning & Analysis and around the organisation. Reports include: weekly sales forecasts to KME, monthly sales report to KME, monthly fleet sales report to KME, twice- monthly sales forecasts (English and Korean) to KME/KMC, KME/KMC screen meeting reports (and supporting submissions to Finance), monthly incentive/stock/dealer

This is a high profile role, preparing detailed reports, presentations and analyses on Key Performance Indicators to senior internal and external management including KMUK CEO, KME COO and CEO, and visiting senior management from KMC. The role incorporates all Korean language reporting and all regular KME and KMC reports prepared by the Planning & Analysis team.Key Responsibilities

The following is a non exhaustive list of responsibilities for the role: As required by external customers (KMC, KME, the CEO and the Sales Co-ordinator), prepare monthly standard Korean and English language reporting primarily on sales (market demand and Kia sales), stock and production performance and analysis, and secondarily on marketing, customer and dealer incentives, dealer development, and aftersales performance and analysis, in liaison with colleagues in Planning & Analysis and around the organisation. Reports include: weekly sales forecasts to KME, monthly sales report to KME, monthly fleet sales report to KME, twice-monthly sales forecasts (English and Korean) to KME/KMC, KME/KMC screen meeting reports (and supporting submissions to Finance), monthly incentive/stock/dealer development report, monthly KPI data for CEO (including Kia vs Hyundai sales report), market/sales/stock data for quarterly incentives proposal template. Prepare additional ad-hoc reports and analyses in the areas and for the customers named above, as required. Prepare presentation materials and back-up data for the MD and CEO for KME/KMC management meetings (regular and one-off meetings), including the quarterly Overseas Presidents Meeting. Ensure the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness of all reported data. Make continuous process improvements in own area of work, including automation of reporting and leading the migration of reports to SAP, as appropriate and as agreed with the Planning & Analysis manager. Carry out detailed market intelligence as requested in the areas of sales, after sales and marketing, analyse the data and present the findings to senior management.

Produce a monthly report for KMUK employees summarising economic, business and automotive news and trends.

Delegate to and work with the Junior Reporting Analyst, whos main role is to support the Senior Reporting Analyst in the above tasks

Undertake additional projects as agreed with manager

Provide absence cover to 2 colleagues in the Planning & Analysis department.Person Specification:

Minimum two years of business experience, preferably in the automotive or FMCG sectors

Proven experience of preparing detailed reports, presentations and analyses on Key Performance Indicators for senior management

Demonstrable knowledge of automotive sales and marketing operations

Extensive knowledge of the UK economic and business environment Highly developed business analysis skills

Highly developed inter-personal skills

Must be self-disciplined, self-motivated and confident

Must display a high standard of personal presentation

Must be PC literate to an advanced level especially in MS Excel & PowerPoint

Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Fluent Korean and English, both written and spoken
