Assembling DCO7

1 Place the machine on itsside, remove the u-bend.Slide hose into runners atback of machine andpush down until it clicks.Click the u-bend backinto place.

2 Press wand release buttonand slide wand down intohose.

Lie cleaner on its front.

1 Undo coloured fastenersusing a coin and removesoleplate.

2 Clear the brushbarobstruction, carefullycutting away anythreads.

Replace soleplate and tightenfasteners.

Where to look for blockages

Check that tools are clear ofblockages.

Remove bin assembly frommachine.

Remove wand and checkinside for blockages.

Press hose release button Afrom front of machine andslide hose out with lowercable winder from rear.

Check inside hose forblockages.

Important

Please note that clearingblockages is not covered byyour cleaner’s guarantee.

Turn power off and unplugbefore starting to clear anyblockages.

NB Should any part of the

machine become blocked

it may overheat and stop

due to the thermal cut-out

being triggered. Unplug

from mains and leave to

cool down for at least

30 minutes.

Using your DCO7

Plug in at mains and presson/off switch.

To start vacuuming, pushcleaner head down with footand pull handle towards you.

Ensure machine is in uprightposition before using tools.

Press wand release catch 1 torelease ready-to-go hose andslide wand to end of hose.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 untilwater runs clear.

Allow 12 hours for filter to dry.Make sure it is completely drybefore replacing in machine.

Replace in filter housing andclick back into machine.

Washing the lifetime pre-motor filter

Press filter release catch andremove filter housing frommachine.

Filter should be washed everysix months. Circle your twowashes.

Remove filter from housing.

Only blue foam and yellowcage should be washed.

Wash in cold water only.

Turn power off and unplugbefore removing filter.

Stair cleaningAlways work with themachine at the bottom ofthe stairs.

Powerful suction cancause the hose to ‘pullback’ in use – pleasetake extra care whencleaning stairs.

Reverse wand by insertingwand handle into hose.

A Empty directly into dustbin.

B Ensure bin base is closedsecurely and replace binassembly on to machine.

Emptying the clear binTM

Important

Bin must be emptied whendust reaches MAX mark.

Press cyclone release catchwith thumb to remove binassembly.

Option 1 (recommended for

asthma/allergy sufferers).

Wipe outside of clear binwith a damp cloth beforeemptying.

A Place bin in bag and pullbin emptying trigger torelease dust into bag.

B Let dust settle, then closebin base securely beforeremoving from bag. Sealbag and replace binassembly on to machine.

Turn power off and unplugbefore emptying the bin. 1

Clean shroud with a cloth ordry brush to remove fluff anddebris.

To replace bin, first click rear bin catch 1 and thenfront bin release catch 2into place.

Ensure bin base is closedsecurely and replace binassembly on to machine.

Ensure bin is empty and binbase is open. Then pressshroud release catch toremove bin.

Cleaning the shroud (if necessary)

Optional • You may rinse the clear binwith water.

• Do not use detergents.

• Do not immerse the wholecleaner in water.

• Ensure it is completely drybefore replacing.
