Facilitator Training

All Facilitators receive group and individual professional development

Facilitator selection is based on:

- ability to relate to mature workers

- understanding of adult learning principles and practices

- view mature workers as resources to themselves and others

- sensitivity to the age and stage of life of mature workers

- readiness to learn

- readiness to “let go”

- readiness to work as a member of a provincial team

- teaching experiences (not necessarily classroom)

- understand the concepts of wellness, productivity and life-long learning

- readiness to collaborate with all resources of government, community and business
