► Prelucrarea zgurei

Exista in principiu doua modalitati diferite de procedare:

a) Granularea zgurei (OCP, INBA, RASA):Zgura fluida a furnalului se granuleaza direct la fata

locului, adica se trateaza cu exces de apa, fapt ce

conduce la intarire. Astfel rezulta asa numitul nisip de

furnal

Utilizare: Industria cimentului (asa numitul ciment defurnal), constructia strazilor, vata minerala

► Prelucrarea zgurei

b) Generarea de bucati de zgura:Zgura fluida este transportata in vagoane tip oala si

basculata in straturi subtiri. Procesul cristalin de

intarire dureaza mai multe zile. Dupa aceea, zgura se

sparge, se macina si se sorteaza. Se obtine un

material in forma de bucati pentru constructia

drumurilor.

→ Prelucrarea zgurei de preferat in granulare in conditii

de piata corespunzatoare

→ Condensarea aburilor pentru reducerea necesara a

mirosurilor (mirosulo H2S)→ La generarea bucatilor de zgura se va evita racirea

intensa cu apa (miros H2S)

Procesul COREX:Un proces de reducere pe baza de carbune, la care

etapele de proces, gazificarea carbunelui, reducerea

directa a minereurilor de fier in fier poros si procesul

de topire au loc intr-un agregat al canalului cuptorului.

 Avantajul: Cocsul nu mai este necesar.
