EACH PHASE OF THIS GUIDANCE ADDRESSES THOSE ASPECTS OF DAILY LIFE FOR WHICH GUIDELINES REMAIN APPROPRIATE DUE TO COVID For municipal guidance, review Miami Dade’s “New Normal”, which includes a color-coded system that details when & how openings occur. It is a fluid document that is based on changing conditions. It will be posted at miamidade.gov/newnormal for residents and business owners to review. We will update our guide regularly based on various indicators outlined in the report.

General Guidelines for All Phases: Individuals

CONTINUE TO PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE

Wash your hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer when available, especially after

touching frequently used items or surfaces.

Avoid touching your face.

Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow, and

away from others.

Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible.

Use face coverings in public as needed and/or appropriate.

PEOPLE WHO FEEL SICK, OR ARE IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH THOSE WHO ARE ILL, SHOULD STAY AT HOME.

Follow the advice of your medical provider.

Metro Life Church will continue to collaborate with State and Local guidance, as well as CDC safety recommendation.

General Guidelines for All Phases: Employers

Develop and implement appropriate policies, in collaboration with Federal, State, and local regulations and guidance, and informed by industry best practices, regarding:

Social distancing and protective equipment

Facilities and Work Area Sanitation

Best Use and Disinfection of common and high-traffic areas

Use and disinfection of personal work areas

Communicate with and observe workforce regarding indicative symptoms. Encourage symptomatic people to stay at home until fully cleared by a medical provider.

Follow best practices for workforce contact-tracing in case of an employee testing COVID+.



PHASEONETHE GREAT RETURN



ALL VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS* should continue to shelter in place until cleared by their medical provider. Members of households with vulnerable residents should be aware that by returning to work, or other environments where distancing is not practical, they could carry the virus back home. Appropriate precautions should be taken by those in this scenario.

Phase One COMMUNITY

All individuals, WHEN IN PUBLIC (e.g., parks, outdoor recreation areas, shopping areas), should maximize physical distance from others. Social settings of more than 10 people, where appropriate distancing may not be practical, should be avoided, unless precautionary measures are practiced.

Avoid SOCIALIZING in groups of more than 10 people in circumstances that do not readily allow for appropriate physical distancing (e.g. celebrations, group meetings, conferences, receptions, etc.)

MINIMIZE NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding isolation following travel.



METRO LIFE CHURCH STAFF will return to work in church facilities.

RETURN TO WORK IN PHASES if appropriate and needed.

Phase One METRO LIFE CHURCH

Physical distancing protocols will be observed, and face coverings will be readily available for use when appropriate and distancing not possible.

NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL will be prioritized and minimized accordingly. CDC Guidelines will be considered in all travel decisions.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS will be made for workforce personnel who are members of, or connected with, the more vulnerable population.



ON SITE Church Services may/will resume at a time deemed appropriate and wise during Phase One with predetermined attendance limits to accommodate for physical distancing and safety for all.

Online Church Services #MetroAtHome will continue throughout Phase One.

Online Connect Groups will continue throughout Phase One

Phase One METROLIFE CHURCH

Physical Connect Groups will begin to meet in Phase One implementation at home or venue of choice. Physical distancing and face covering guidelines will be communicated and practiced per group guidelines.These groups will comprise of 10 people or less.

Children's Ministry: Volunteers will be training and preparing for reopening. This includes inventory of cleaning and sanitation supplies, preparing sanitation packages for children to use when reopening. Ordering and/or producing signage detailing volunteer protocols and instructions for children and families.

Youth Ministry: Volunteers will be training and preparing for reopening. This includes inventory of cleaning and sanitation supplies, preparing sanitation packages for youth to use when reopening. Ordering and/or producing signage detailing volunteer protocols and instructions for youth and families.

Other Ministries remain in planning stage and will commence when wise and safe to do so..

THE GREAT RETURN

LARGE VENUES (e.g., sit-down dining, movie theaters, sporting venues, places of worship) can operate under physical distancing and sanitation protocols; considering guidelines in place at that time.



METRO LIFE CHURCH STAFF:

Will continue to work in church facilities.

Will continue to consider PHYSICAL DISTANCING recommendations and best practices to provide a safe and pleasant work environment that promotes faith and hope.

Phase Two METRO LIFE CHURCH STAFF

Will resume TRAVEL, whether “essential” or not, in collaboration with the CDC guidelines and best practices at that time.

Will continue make SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS for workforce personnel who are members of, or connected with, the more vulnerable population.

ON SITE Church Services will continue in collaboration with capacity protocols recommended by National, State and/or Municipal guidelines and physical distancing best practices.

Online Church Services #MetroAtHome will continue throughout Phase Two.

Online Connect Groups will continue throughout Phase Two for groups that are more comfortable meeting virtually.

Phase Two METRO LIFE CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Physical Connect Groups will continue to meet at home or venue of choice. Physical distancing and face covering guidelines will be reviewed and consider at that time. These groups can comprise of up to 20 people; although normally 10 to 12 in size.

Onsite Ministry Meetings/Gatherings will be considered during Phase Two and allowed according to necessity, priority and in collaboration with the guidelines and best practices at that time.

Children's Ministry: Volunteers will be available during general gatherings to answer questions, handout pre-packaged resources and assist in caring for staff children as needed at that time. Children's Ministry may continue to be suspended during this phase. This will be revisited and reviewed at that time in order to ensure safety. It is likely that a limited number of children will be ministered to, especially those who are part of our staff and volunteer families. This will take place in consideration of ALL best practice and safety precautions; and

will be fully based on parental comfort level. We can assure you that our children’s areas will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly so that you, our Metro Family, can be confident in leaving your children for ministry no matter what “phase” that begins. Crying/Changing Area will remain available for parents that need to leave sanctuary with small children. Youth Ministry will be revisited and reviewed when we reach Phase Two in order to ensure a safe environment for all. Commencing will be determined based on this review. Steps Classes will resume while observing physical distancing best practices. Stage, Media, and Production Ministry will resume while considering ALL best practice and safety precautions.

Phase Two METRO LIFE CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Service Reservations: In order to collaborate with local and state regulations, we may need to account for the number of people that will attend each service. If this is the case, multiple service times will be made available to reserve online. Please assist us with this process by making your reservations (RSVP) and attend the service that you have registered for ahead of time only. We will close reservations for service times as they reach capacity to simplify the process.

Phase Two METRO LIFE CHURCH ON SITE SERVICES

Parking: Metro Family will be WELCOMED BACK with joy while physical distancing best practices are observed.

Entrance & Lobby: Welcome Home!! We will do our best to provide a “touchless” experience as our Metro Family enters our facilities (greeters opening doors, etc). Food and beverages will remain suspended until appropriate time. Lobby connection will be fun and exciting while physical distancing best practices are observed. Cleaning & Disinfecting: All areas will have been cleaned and disinfected prior to and after each service. Services may be shorter to allot for transition time, capacity considerations, cleaning and disinfecting appropriately. Our Hospitality Team is prepared to make your return to Metro absolutely GREAT and SAFE!!

Seating: Members of the same household may sit together. We will simplify seating arrangements for our Metro Family by distancing rows/pews 6 feet front to back. Families can therefore sit as they wish as we ask that you please maintain appropriate and reasonable physical distancing (6 feet) between families from side to side. If you have ANY questions, our friendly ushers will stand ready to serve.

Phase Two METRO LIFE CHURCH ON SITE SERVICES

Restrooms: When entering restroom area, remember to observe physical distancing best practices. If there is a line to enter, please maintain physical distancing of 6 feet as you wait. Our team will be available to answer any questions throughout this phase. Food, Drink, and Water Fountains: These will remain unavailable during this phase simply out of an abundance of caution. We welcome you to bring your own sealed water container to enjoy on site.

Phase Three COMMUNITY

VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS can resume public interactions based on their comfort level. They should practice physical distancing and minimize exposure to social settings where distancing may not be practical, unless precautionary measures are observed.

HIGH-RISK POPULATIONS should consider minimizing time spent in crowded environments.

Phase Three EMPLOYERS

Resume UNRESTRICTED STAFFING of worksites.

LARGE VENUES (e.g. sit-down dining, movie theaters, sporting venues, places of worship) can operate under more relaxed physical distancing protocols.



METRO LIFE CHURCH STAFF:

Will continue to work in church facilities.

Will observe Physical Distancing only if/when necessary.

Phase Three METRO LIFE CHURCH STAFF

May wear face coverings according to personal preference unless guidelines strongly suggest otherwise. Will be revisited and reviewed at that time.

May travel as they wish. (Governmental and/or industry guidelines may apply)

Will consider SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS for personnel who are members of a VULNERABLE POPULATION on a case by case basis. In this Phase we will see some pre-Covid normalcy come back. We will function in faith NOT fear and inspire others in doing so. Common sense caution and consideration for others is the Golden Rule… otherwise; let’s be ourselves again. God is working ALL THINGS for our good!!



ON SITE Church Services will begin in collaboration with higher capacity protocols recommended by National, State and/or Municipal guidelines and physical distancing best practices in place at that time.

Online Church Services #MetroAtHome will continue throughout Phase Three.

Online Connect Groups will continue throughout Phase Three for groups that are more comfortable meeting virtually and include more vulnerable population (as they wish).

Phase Three METRO LIFE CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Physical Connect Groups will continue to meet at home or venue of choice. Physical distancing and face covering are likely not needed and may be left to personal preference (guidelines will be reviewed and consider at that time).

Children's Ministry will resume in consideration with guidelines and best practices at that time. Parental comfort level will determine individual returns and Metro will work diligently to ensure a “safe for all” environment. We will consult accordingly and consider all necessary information. Staff and volunteer children will continue attending as before.

Youth Ministries may/will resume after revisiting and reviewing guidelines at that time.

Steps Classes will continue as in Phase Two.

ON SITE MULTIPLE CHURCH SERVICES

Entrance/Lobby: We may still provide a “touchless” environment; but things are getting back to pre-Covid “normal”. Physical distancing by personal preference unless otherwise restricted.

Cleaning & Disinfecting: All areas will be cleaned and disinfected before and after each service. Services may be shorter if necessary, to transition effectively.

Seating: Seating is hard to predict for this phase. We will review recommendations and best practices at that time and simplify the seating process for Metro.

Restrooms: Practice consideration when entering and using restrooms; some may prefer physical distancing protocols more than others.

Food, Drink, and Water Fountains: Food and Drink service will be determined at the appropriate time and may be available whether fully or in limited fashion in a safe and clean environment.

Our hope is that by this phase our nation is returning back to pre-Covid normalcy (or as close as possible). We continue to trust God to be our Provider and our Protection. We are looking forward to the great community that is our Metro Family to enjoy their lives together! Our core values of RELATIONSHIPS have been the guiding light throughout this “Covid Season” and we know that RELATIONSHIPS will continue as Covid fades in Jesus Name! .
